National Information System for Assistive Technology

The National Information System for Assistive Technology (NISAT) has been established by the U.S. Department of Education, Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) to provide timely and accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of data relating to the activities of the 56 State Assistive Technology Programs, funded under the Assistive Technology Act of 1998, as amended and located throughout the United States and Territories.

The National Information System for Assistive Technology (NISAT) is a cooperative agreement between the U.S. Department of Education and the Association of Assistive Technology Act Programs (ATAP). The grant (Grant #H224B060002; CFDA 84.224B) is funded under the Assistive Technology Act of 1998, as amended and administered by the Rehabilitation Services Administration, Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services at the U.S. Department of Education.
